WINTER 2012

Château Thuerry, winery in Provence, is located on three villages and three different wine zones: Flayosc - AOC Côtes de Provence ; Villecroze - AOC Côteaux Varois en Provence ; Tourtour - Vin de Pays  des Côteaux du Verdon. The whole estate is made of 340 hectares on which we have 45 ha of vines, and some 750 olive trees. We produce a wide range of wines - available on the three colours: Le Château, Les Abeillons & L'Exception, and two sparkling wines: Blanc de Blanc & Rosé :Les Bulles Emmêlées.

As we announced, macerations indicate the real potential of a grape.

An optimum state of health has enabled us to lead the winemaking as we please. The long post-fermentation macerations for the red wines exhaled notes of spices, pepper, mocha, chocolate and red fruit. The "wool" and the strength are here! The malolactic fermentation has given a full wine and the tannins are thereby coated and delicate. A vintage that is revealed today as a sure value to enjoy in 2013!

Whites and rosés lose their milky veils that dress them during the fermentations. The limpidity and the glare of the dresses is joined by a beautiful roundness and a panel of aromas going through tropical fruit, grapefruit, blackcurrant bud, and fresh red fruit. Whites and rosés will be available from the first days of spring!
